Good value for complex data needs

As a first-time customer, I was looking for a solution that could handle complex Health System Data Unification without breaking the bank. After requesting an enterprise consultation, we got a custom quote that felt very competitive for the scope of work. We also discussed a multi-year contract pricing option which made the overall investment more manageable. The API Integration Services were a big selling point, and they delivered. For the value provided in unifying disparate data sources, it felt like a worthwhile investment for our organization's budget.

Reliable data streaming

This is our third time working with Hart, this time for Real-time Data Streaming. Just like with our previous EHR migration project, their platform was very reliable. The data fidelity during streaming has been consistently high, which is crucial for us. We've tried other solutions before, but Hart always delivers on its promises. That consistency is why we keep coming back for different data needs. It just works as expected.

Data Migration was smooth

We used Hart for EHR Data Migration. The process was straightforward, and they handled our legacy system archiving well. It integrated with our existing setup without major issues. Support was responsive when we had questions.

Are they actually HIPAA compliant? That's a big sticking point for our legal team.

E Emily G. 6 days ago
Absolutely. That's a core requirement for any healthcare tech platform like this. They'll have all the certifications and processes in place for HIPAA.

Yeah, if they weren't, they wouldn't be in business. We went through a pretty rigorous security audit when we onboarded them and they passed everything with flying colors on the compliance front.

Does Hart work with Epic? We're fully on Epic here and need something that plays nice.

L Luke Flores 1 month ago
Oh yeah, they definitely work with Epic. That's like, their bread and butter. Pretty sure they handle all the major EHRs.

Can confirm, we're on Epic and it wasn't an issue at all. Pretty seamless integration process from what I gathered from our tech team.

Looking into different platforms for healthcare data unification, how does Hart compare to, say, Health Catalyst or Innovaccer? Anyone got experience with both?

P Paul Hill 1 month ago
From what I've seen, Hart seems to be really strong on the deep data unification and making sure all your disparate systems talk. Health Catalyst is good too, but sometimes felt a bit more focused on the analytics dashboards right out of the box. Hart feels like it builds a better data foundation first.

I've only really used Hart, but our old system was a nightmare and Hart really cleaned it up and made it usable for our analytics team. Heard good things about Innovaccer too, but our execs liked Hart's approach to data normalization.

Thinking about using Hart for our system's data stuff. Anyone know how long the typical integration process takes? Our IT team is swamped already.

C Chris 1 month ago
It really depends on how messy your existing data is and how many systems you're connecting. For a pretty standard setup, I'd budget a few months to be safe. Could be quicker though.

Yeah, what the other person said. We had a pretty complex legacy system and it still felt pretty streamlined. I think it took us about 4-5 months from initial talks to full data flow, but they were pretty good at communicating milestones.

Is there any way to get a discount for a smaller hospital system? We're non-profit and every penny counts.

B Ben H. 3 weeks ago
I don't think they do like, coupon codes or anything. It's an enterprise thing. But you definitely should ask about non-profit pricing when you request a demo. I'd be surprised if they didn't have something for that.

T Thomas Gonzalez 3 weeks ago
They don't have public discounts no, but we're a non-profit academic center and we got a custom quote that reflected our budget and specific needs. It's all about negotiation and showing them your use case.
